Storyline Of The Tall Man

The Tall Man is about a legend that has been started by the town folk of Cold Rock. Since the children in the town have been going missing, people have said it's an entity known as 'The Tall Man' who has been taking them. Julia Denning ('Jessica Beil' ) is the local nurse who's husband died years earlier. She is soon personally involved as her child is taken. She tries to track down where the child is taken to, but then she finds that there's more to what's happening than she knew. The towns folk start to turn on her and the truth comes out. But there's still more to the story... Who is 'The Tall Man'? And what is the truth?

Plot

A nurse races to rescue her young son from a seemingly supernatural figure who's been snatching children from a depressed mining town in this downbeat tale of terror from Martyrs director Pascal Laugier. Plot
Will Shaw arrives in Spain from San Francisco for a holiday he really doesn't want. He is picked up by his father, Martin, who works in various different countries for the government. In the evening, phone calls put Will in a bad mood and he decides to go fishing the next day. Will is still preoccupied with the phone calls, resulting in an accident which causes his brother's girlfriend to be hit on the side of the head by the sail. Will decides to swim into town to fetch medicine.

When he swims back, the ship has gone and he finds it abandoned. He runs to a local police station where the officer in charge finds out his name and makes a phone call, before asking Will to take him to the ship. They are met there by Zahir, who knows where Will's family is and invites him to show him the way, but Will decides to escape in the police car but doesn't get far. He crashes into a tree and is almost killed until Martin shows up and escapes with him. He reveals he is a CIA agent and that the people who have taken their family are after a briefcase he took. He calls his partner who agrees to meet him in Madrid. They go to the meeting and Will stays in the car while Martin talks to his partner, Jean, who says that she doesn't have the briefcase anymore. He doesn't believe her and thinks something isn't right. As he returns to the car, a sniper murders Martin and Will is attacked by a man. Will barely escapes but the man follows him through the streets of Madrid. After escaping, he has no money and decides to hide his dad's gun in the trash.

Going to the U.S Embassy, Will discovers that he is wanted for killing a police officer which he denies, but they are not interested in finding his family. The Embassy then tells him someone wants to meet him. Jean and Martin's contact, Diego, waits for him and says she wants to help. He doesn't trust her and fakes illness to escape. Looking through his father's phone, he sees that Diego's name comes up several times and calls it. He also gets a call from the kidnappers who want to speak to "Tom" and say they want the briefcase in exchange for his family. The kidnappers give Will a deadline and meeting point. During this call Will speaks to his mum and tells her Martin was killed.

Storyline

Summary of 2016: Obama's America

As Obama's parents' relationship becomes strained, Obama is sent to Hawaii to live with his grandparents and meets Frank Marshall Davis. Obama begins his college studies at Columbia, where the film claims he is influenced by anti-colonial figures. His progression into an intellectual is highlighted by a return visit to Kenya. The film incorporates spoken words from Obama's audio book, Dreams from My Father.

D'Souza discusses Obama's father, Barack Obama Sr and what D'Souza describes as Obama Sr.'s anti-colonialist views of the British Empire. This, according to D'Souza, explains why Obama supposedly rejects American exceptionalism and why D'Souza believes he is attempting to "reshape America". D'Souza delves into people from Obama's past, including Frank Marshall Davis, Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, and Edward Said. As a result, the film argues that President Obama wants to significantly reduce the U.S.'s influence within the world while increasing the influence of nations that he believes have suffered or been held back economically or militarily due to U.S. and western domination. To argue his case, D’Souza interviews conservative academics Shelby Steele and Daniel Pipes. The film warns that should Obama be elected to a second term, the ramifications will be far reaching. My Week with Marilyn is a 2011 British drama film directed by Simon Curtis and written by Adrian Hodges. It stars Michelle Williams, Kenneth Branagh, Eddie Redmayne, Dominic Cooper, Julia Ormond, Emma Watson and Judi Dench. Based on two books by Colin Clark, it depicts the making of the 1957 film The Prince and the Showgirl, which starred Marilyn Monroe (Williams) and Laurence Olivier (Branagh). The film focuses on the week in which Monroe spent time being escorted around London by Clark (Redmayne), after her husband, Arthur Miller (Dougray Scott), had left the country.

Principal photography began on 4 October 2010 at Pinewood Studios. Filming took place at Saltwood Castle, White Waltham Airfield and on locations in and around London. Curtis also used the same studio in which Monroe shot The Prince and the Showgirl in 1956. My Week with Marilyn had its world premiere at the New York Film Festival on 9 October 2011 and was shown at the Mill Valley Film Festival two days later. The film was released on 23 November 2011 in the United States and 25 November in the United Kingdom. For her portrayal of Monroe, Williams was awarded the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Motion Picture. She also earned Best Actress nominations from the Academy Awards and British Academy Film Awards.

Storyline

Sir Laurence Olivier is making a movie in London. Young Colin Clark, an eager film student, wants to be involved and he navigates himself a job on the set. When film star Marilyn Monroe arrives for the start of shooting, all of London is excited to see the blonde bombshell, while Olivier is struggling to meet her many demands and acting ineptness, and Colin is intrigued by her. Colin's intrigue is met when Marilyn invites him into her inner world where she struggles with her fame, her beauty and her desire to be a great actress.

Following his graduation from university, aspiring filmmaker Colin Clark (Eddie Redmayne) travels to London to get a job on Laurence Olivier's (Kenneth Branagh) next production. Hugh Perceval (Michael Kitchen) tells Colin there are no jobs available, but he decides to wait for Olivier, whom he once met at a party. Olivier and his wife, Vivien Leigh (Julia Ormond), eventually show up and Vivien encourages Olivier to give Colin a job on his upcoming film The Prince and the Showgirl, starring Marilyn Monroe (Michelle Williams). Colin's first task is to find a suitable place for Marilyn and her husband, Arthur Miller (Dougray Scott), to stay at while they are in England. The press find out about the house, but Colin reveals he hired another just in case, impressing Olivier and Marilyn's publicist, Arthur Jacobs (Toby Jones).

The paparazzi find out about Marilyn's arrival at Heathrow and they gather around the plane when it lands. Marilyn brings her husband, her business partner, Milton H. Greene (Dominic Cooper), and her acting coach Paula Strasberg (Zoë Wanamaker) with her. She initially appears to be uncomfortable around the many photographers, but relaxes at the press conference. Olivier becomes frustrated when Marilyn is late to the read-through. She insists Paula sits with her and when she has trouble with her lines, Paula reads them for her. The crew and the other actors, including Sybil Thorndike (Judi Dench), are in awe of Marilyn. Colin meets Lucy (Emma Watson), a wardrobe assistant whom he is attracted to, and they go on a date. Marilyn starts arriving later to the set and often forgets her lines, angering Olivier. However, Sybil praises Marilyn and defends her when Olivier tries to get her to apologise for holding the shoot up.

Marilyn struggles to understand her character and leaves the set when Olivier insults her. Colin asks the director to be more sympathetic towards Marilyn, before he goes to Parkside House to check on her. He hears an argument and finds a tearful Marilyn sitting on the stairs with Arthur's notebook, which contains the plot of a new play that appears to poke fun at her. Arthur later returns to the United States. Vivien comes to the set and watches some of Marilyn's scenes. She breaks down, saying Marilyn lights up the screen and if only Olivier could see himself when he watches her. Oliver tries unsuccessfully to reassure his wife. Marilyn does not show up to the set following Arthur's departure and she asks Colin to come to Parkside and they talk. The crew becomes captivated by Marilyn when she dances for a scene and Milton pulls Colin aside to tell him Marilyn breaks hearts and that she will break his too. Lucy also notices Colin's growing infatuation with Marilyn.

Colin and Marilyn spend the day together and are given a tour of Windsor Castle by Owen Morshead (Derek Jacobi). Colin also shows Marilyn around Eton College, and they go skinny dipping in the River Thames. Marilyn kisses Colin and they are found by Roger Smith (Philip Jackson), Marilyn's bodyguard. Colin is called to Parkside one night as Marilyn has locked herself in her room. Colin enters her room and Marilyn invites him to lie next to her on the bed. The following night, Marilyn wakes up in pain and claims she is having a miscarriage. A doctor tends to her and Marilyn tells Colin that she wants to forget everything. She later returns to the set to complete the film. Olivier praises Marilyn, but reveals she has killed his desire to direct again. Lucy asks Colin if Marilyn broke his heart and he replies that she did, a little. Marilyn comes to Colin's B&B and thanks him for helping her. She kisses him goodbye and Roger drives her to the airport.

Synopsis
Every man's dream: an adult life in the midst of bras and panties. One look at a woman, and he knows her size. Reality check: Farhad Pastakiya, a 45-year-old golden-hearted Parsi bachelor working as a bra and panty salesman, has never found love. The only women in his life are his dominating mother Nargis and doting grandmother Siloo. The world has given up on him, but Farhad has never given up hope. After the Bollywood industry doing so well with all the new genres coming in and getting accolades at the box office, it is time for another masala entertainment movie Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi to rock the screens.

The best part of the movie is that it features Boman Irani opposite Farah Khan. The first trailer of the movie is out and it seems to be really promising. The lead couple of the movie looks cute on the screen.

The movie is going to be the directorial debut of Bela Bhansali Sehgal. After Sujoy Ghosh’s Kahaani, Shoojit Sircar’s Vicky Donor and Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Paan Singh Tomar which had an entirely different concept have been accepted by the audience, this one too seems to be added to the list as it is based on the ageless love story.

This romcom is sure to make the viewers accept the couple of Boman Irani and Farah Khan. It is sure going to be a movie worth watch. Let’s see how well it goes further.
